Kell has built his life around discipline, drive, and a deep belief in public service. An immigrant who came to the United States at 18 years old with just two suitcases and an unshakable belief in the American dream, he knows exactly what it means to start from scratch. Over the past decade, he’s worked as an educator, activist, and community servant - supporting marginalized communities, strengthening local nonprofits, and showing up for the people and causes that often get overlooked. Whether in classrooms, neighborhood meetings, or grassroots campaigns, Kell leads with empathy, urgency, and purpose.

He holds degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, the University of Texas at Austin, and Boston University - but it’s not his credentials that define him. It is his conviction that government should serve all of us - not just those whose voices have always echoed loudest. He’s not a career politician. He’s a systems thinker who knows how to turn values into action and real need into measurable change.

Now, at 37 years old, he’s stepping up because families across Florida are being crushed by the cost of living - skyrocketing rent, unaffordable healthcare, rising housing insurance, and infrastructure that’s falling behind. In a moment that demands real solutions, too much energy is spent on noise instead of progress. Kell believes in affordability with dignity: building what people need, removing the barriers that hold us back, and fighting for a future that actually works for working people.

Kell lives in South Tampa with his husband Jayson, his partner of ten years - and it is he, alongside a close-knit community of friends, neighbors, and loved ones, who remind Kell every day what this campaign is all about! A campaign rooted in service, shared purpose, and the belief that progress isn’t given - it is something we build together!
